My team and I are experiencing some difficulty in completing modules that were upgraded from SL2 to Sl3 while in Edge. They work in all other browsers, but in Edge we're experiencing issues navigating to any question/survey slides. It just crashes and goes to the beginning of the module. We're publishing in HTML 5 only. Any suggestions? has anyone experienced this is Edge before?
Happy to help, and first I want to make sure I've captured the trouble you're seeing.
It sounds like you've added a Storyline block to Rise, then published the Rise course for LMS. When you view the published output in Edge, the Storyline audio plays, but the slide content is missing. Is that right?
The first thing I'd recommend is to test the Rise LMS output file in another environment, like SCORM Cloud. If you run into the same problem in SCORM Cloud, then we'll want to do some further testing on your file.
I'm experiencing a glitch when running eLearnings on Edge. The font gets changed, the characters change from letters to symbols. I've published the eLearning as LMS Scorm 2004. Has anyone else noticed this?
Let me ask you a few questions to narrow down the issue: * Are you opening the published file locally or after uploading it to the LMS? After uploading it to the LMS * Have you tested it in other browsers? Yes, and it works. * Do you experience the same problem with the characters when you publish it for Web instead of LMS? I'm confused w/ this question I guess. I have to upload the course into our eLearning portal that we use. It's called Verint. I can't publish our courses for Web because they won't open from within Verint.
My question about publishing for the web was also to rule out a problem with Edge. If it works when you publish for the web and open it locally using Microsoft Edge, it could signal that the issue is in the Learning Management System.

Hi, Brenda.
Thank you for the additional information!
Since this is only happening when you upload the project to your LMS, the first step is to rule out LMS-specific issues. You can do this by testing your project in SCORM Cloud.
