SL3 course registering incomplete in SCORM CLOUD & LMS
Apr 03, 2018
My course has 2 question banks each with a results slide. I have created a separate Final Results Slide combining the results from the other 2 results slides which is fine. However, SCORM Cloud and my LMS say the course is incomplete.
The course is for 2 type of users, so they will choose the quiz which is relevant to them, eg: User 1 would only take QUIZ 1 and the Final Results Slide would show as passed. User 2 would only take QUIZ 2 and again the Final Results Slide would show as passed.
However, the LMS & SCORM Cloud are saying incomplete. Can anyone advise me how to overcome this please?
As the Final Results Slide is asking for combined results do you think that is the problem? I don't know how to show it any other way? Suggestions would be helpful!

Sounds like you nailed it Llz!
Your final results slide is looking for the combined results of both quizzes, so you may need to lower the passing requirements to accomodate for this.
Hopefully others in the community will be able to chime in with how they have built similar requirements into their courses.
Hi there Liz! Happy to lend a hand here. Two things initially come to mind:
Thanks Leslie, that might be an option. They need 80% to pass the quiz whether its Quiz 1 or 2. So I've made the Final Results Slide 80% as well. Is that incorrect?
Thanks Alyssa, yes all the results slides say 80% and when published I have tracked it using only the final results slide.
I'm stuck! Its almost like the LMS is thinking because the user hasn't answered a question in the other quiz it is saying incomplete. But I don't know how to overcome this.
That may be the issue. If the users are only taking one of two quizzes all the time, the final pass percentage would need to be 50% or less, right? The LMS is looking at the final results slide and considering both results slides that are tied to that final result.
Again, other users may have some additional solutions/experience to share with you here. For instance, Dave shared a solution that you may want to check out here.
