SL3 crashes when closing

I'm having an ongoing issue when I close SL3. In the process of closing it down, I get this pop up.
The weird thing is that it only happens when I am trying to close the program. Fortunately, I've already saved my work and the program reopens just fine, but I hope it isn't indicative of a larger issue. I'm using the most recent version of SL3, but I was getting this message before the update, too. Any thoughts about why this might be occurring?

In these scenarios, we like starting with a simple repair since a fresh copy of Storyline typically does the trick. Another item worth confirming is that you're following along these best practices to prevent any file issues which could lead to corruption.

Thanks for getting back to me. I've been a SL and Presenter user for 10 years, so I'm well versed in the "best practices". Since this was happening both before and after updating to the newest version (which is a fresh copy - right?), I'm not certain what else the problem might be. I guess I'll just have to live with it. I don't have admin rights to reinstall the newest version, so I'll have to wait until after the holidays to see if there's a different solution.
