Hi, I'm reviewing course content that was created in SL3 and I'm noticing that feedback layers of the quiz slides shift slightly upwards after submitting. This is a case where the base layer is visible and feedback details are laid on top of the base layer. The objects that shift are all on the base layer.
I'm curious if anyone has experienced this and if there is a solution/fix..........Thanks!
Hi there, Nick. I see that you have the player Submit button enabled on the base layer of the interactive slides, and the Submit button is hidden when visiting the layers on the slide. When the Submit button is hidden, there is a slight shift happening in the player that is bouncing the slide content a bit.
When I removed the Submit button from the first slide and changed the triggers to open the layers when the user clicks option A or option B, the bounce doesn't happen. Is that a possible workaround for you?
I'm attaching your modified file to see how my changes look.
That's perfect! I think I will probably still use the Submit button and just change the Button state to Disabled when the Slide Layer is displayed. But the logic works the same way (just don't hide the player button). Thanks for the fantastic troubleshooting and quick response!

Hi there Paul,
Hmm, that's really odd! I can't say I've seen that happen before, so I'm glad you mentioned it.
Do you have a sample file you can share with me? Even just one slide will do. I'd love to have a closer look!
Hi Alyssa,
I saw it again today and a couple of other developers I spoke with mentioned they see it as well. Will upload a sample file...........Paul
I'm having a similar problem. All quiz slides are displaced slightly higher than the rest of the slides.
Hi Kim,
I do not see where Paul shared a file for us to take a look.
Would you be able to share your .story file here for us to take a look?
Yep, just sent now thanks Leslie
Thanks, Kim for sending in your .story file! One of our Support Engineers will be in touch as soon as they've had a chance to take a look at it!
Any update on this? I'm having the same problem in SL3. Source file attached.
