Slide counter display out of sequence
Apr 20, 2020
I've added the "Slide Number" parts to the bottom of my master slide. Easily done! Now, when I go back to the scenes, each of the slides has a number like it's supposed to, but on my second and third slide the number in the bottom corner shows "37 of 38" and "38 of 38" not "2 of 38" and "3 of 38." The slide number on the left side of the screen shows them to be 1.2 and 1.3 respectively. Those numbers all match all the way to the end. Just the "# of #" is not correct. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Hi Steven,
Slide numbers can be fun! I've spent hours trying to get them right.
Might first thought would be to check you've selected the right field code. It sounds like you've selected a 'slides viewed' option as opposed to 'slide number'.
To check, hover over the slide number and let me know what it says, should be something like Menu.SlideNumber

I have also had similar issues. Check whether your scenes also have the right sequence numbering. You might have placed them in the sequence you want, but they can still have another numbering. That can affect the slide numbering.
