I opened Storyline today to edit a project and the slide layer editor toolbar that usually appears on the right hand side of the screen is missing. I have tried different things to get this editor toolbar to reappear again but haven't had any luck. I cannot see the slide layers to edit them. If anyone knows how to fix this or has any clues as to what happened, it would be appreciated!
I tried that! It does not work. That black cursor appears and I tried pulling it out and it just pulls right back. Nothing will appear. Any other thoughts on how to get this toolbar back??
Thanks for getting back to me! That's odd. Has anything changed with the machine, recently? You mentioned this started when you opened Storyline, have you tried restarting? If you restart the machine are you able to see the menu, or pull it back out again?
And sometimes, if you don't drag far enough to the left, it'll try snapping back up against the right-side of the window again. Make sure you're dragging far enough left
My Toolbar for editing Layers has gone to the top of the screen. I can't drag it down. I can drag sideways. I cannot see the black carrot to expand and I can't get a full grab on it. I've rebooted and no help.
No, The triggers are there. The layers are not. See attachments.
The triggers are where they should be, the layers is out of Articulate completely and stuck at the top of my screen. Note that the expand carrot is not viewable. I have tried grabbing and dragging to no avail. I have shut down Articulate and reopened - no change, rebooted my laptop and no change, undocked and pulled/replaced battery - no change.
Please help me.
Thanks
Karen

I'm not seeing any additional attachments here, but it appears that you may be responding via e-mail. This does not allow your attachments to come through, but does attach your signature. You are welcome to pop in and edit if needed.
I've not seen this issue before and thank you for letting me know the troubleshooting you have gone through. Please be sure you are working with 96 DPI and if that does not assist, I advise that you work directly with a support engineer here.

Hi Erin,
If your Triggers panel or Slide Layers panel is missing or closed, here's how you can make it visible again:
Let me know if that works

I did recently get a new computer and had to activate it on the new computer. I am going to try and restart the computer and see if that helps.
Sounds good, Erin.
Let me know how it goes!

You were right Peter! Thank you both for the help! It's a little thing but it's an important piece! Thank you again!
Glad you got it back! It's just one of those silly, finicky things you shouldn't have to get used to
Good luck with the project!
Thank you again!!!

Hi Karen!
Looks like your layers panel is there. Do you mean the triggers panel above it?
To redock all panels at the same time, go to the View tab on the Storyline ribbon and click Redock All Windows.
