Slide layer panel not appearing in slide view

Hi folks

Sorry if this has been asked before but I haven't been able to find an answer anywhere and I'm racing against a deadline.

I seem to lost the layers panel normally in the bottom right of slide view (red box on the attached) - the panel that shows the correct/incorrect layers. It was floating and now has disappeared.

I've tried minimising and hovering the cursor near the edges but it doesn't pick up anything. Getting frustrated and desperate!

Any suggestions how to get it back? I am really missing it in this final stretch.
