Slide layer reappears at end of slide

Good morning!
I am new to creating layers and triggers, so I am probably doing something wrong. I have created a slide layer with a trigger. The layer is set to appear if the learner tries to advance the slide with the next button prior to the audio finishing. When I click the Next button, the layer appears correctly and I am able to make it go away by clicking the X button I added. But at the end of the slide the layer appears again. Not sure how to ensure it stays hidden at the end of the slide.
I have attached the first three slides of my course, the layer and trigger are on the second slide.
Any help is appreciated.

Katie, at first glance everything on slide 2 looked okay to mne. After some experimentation, I adjusted the trigger that sets your complete variable from on media complete to end of timeline (which means I listenedto all the audio). I'm not sure if you wanted this, but your slide properties were set to automatically advance, I changed that to By User. See attached file, let me know if that works for you.
Michael, that is perfrect! Thank you for your help!
