I have a slide layer that will not stop looping. I have a trigger set to show the next slide layer when timeline ends. however, it repeatedly loops on itself. i'm not sure how I've managed to program it that way but I can't seem to undo it. I've tried rebuilding the slide layer, deleting all triggers and resetting them, setting new triggers to hide layer-nothing seems to be working....please help
Hi Amy and Welcome to E-Learning Heroes! I agree with Michael, seeing your file would help us understand the problem. Thanks so much and have a great day
Amy, try the attached file. On your baselayer, you had the trigger that shows the first layer attached to a text box. I changed this to a slide trigger and all seems to work now. I wasn't completely sure about the correct sequencing of the layers, but with this change, the loop is not happening anymore. Go figure

Amy, could you share the .story file, so that we can have a look at the layers and triggers?

Did I do it correctly? I fear that I might appear stupid, but forgive me please, I've never done any of this.
It's slide 1.6 that i'm having issues with the layer looping.

No worries Amy! Can you please post the Storyline source file (the one that you work on BEFORE publishing).
silly question, you might laugh.....how?
Amy, at the top of the blog post window, click the Paperclip icon. Then browse to your .story file and click upload.
it keeps telling me server error when I try that.
i'm going to try something different here
