Slide Layers

Jan 07, 2014

Hello Fellow Storyliners,

I've created multiple layers with variables and a warning slide to show when users attempt to skip the layer. Right now, after viewing the warning layer users are taken back to the base layer when they 'click return' to hide the layer. Is there a way for the user to return to the layers they try to skip instead of returning to the base layer every time?

Hi Demetrius,

It would like be a lot to set up, as you'd need to set up the conditions on each layer to check which ones have already been visited (based on your variables) and then a trigger to show layer X or Y based on the conditions met when they "click return."

Instead, you may want to include something on the base layer that lets them know which sections they've already reviewed. So if the base layer has 4 buttons that direct to 4 different layers, maybe after visiting each layer the button's state changes to include a check mark or be greyed out, so that the user knows they already went to that layer.
