Hi, I have a base layer with text boxes that show different layers when clicked, but on the layer, it shows the text box on the base layer still. Even though the base layer's items are all marked as hidden on each layer.
I also have a text box on some layers that disappears after a second, even though all things have been checked and it shouldn't disappear.
The disappearing could be animations but it's hard to say without seeing the file. Can you share the .story file or even just the slide that you are having issues with and someone can take a look and help you.

For Articulate 360 subscribers, Peek 360 is the quickest way to record a screencast, and it's available for Windows and Mac. Follow the steps below:
Launch Peek 360 on your computer and click New Recording.
Select the application you want to record, then choose a microphone (if you have one) when the recording window appears.
Click the red Record button and reproduce the issue.
When you're finished, click Done on the recording control bar or click the Peek 360 icon in your system tray (by the clock).
You can preview your recording, give it a name, and then click Upload to send it to your Articulate 360 account.
Windows will notify you when it's done uploading, and a link to your screencast will automatically be copied to your clipboard.

Hi Wendy, I seem to be having a similar issue except it's a layer that is appearing wrong. I've attached my file to show you.

I agree with Joe - I'm not sure which layer has the issue...so some more info will help us help you
