yes, with this it is possible but this Layout is not available in the overview of the layouts and it's complicated to show the layers depending of variables.
I hope that in the next update it will be possible to add layers to a master slide.
So if I want to include layers in a design I need base all my slides off the feedback blank layout and add the layers there or forget the slide master and add the layer to each slide as I build?
You do not have to base your slides off of that layout.
You will need to add your layers within your project, they are not inherent from the masters if this is what you were asking. That's what Wilhelm was requesting above :)
Sorry but don't follow. I have a base layer based on a Master Slide. If I had a new layer to that base layer, it retains a set of rectangles at the top of the screen. I don't want these. I just want a blank slide. When I try to change the layout of the layer, it does not let me.
Thanks. I've tried that without any luck. I've attached the story. The problem is in Slide 2.1 where I've added a layer. It keeps picking up the menu at the top of the screen. I'd prefer a blank slide though.
Thanks for allowing me to take a look at your file. It seems that it is the menu from your Slide Master, so even by selecting to hide the base layer items it would not hide the items on the slide master.
You could either remove all the objects on the slide master and transfer to the slide or perhaps place a white rectangle at the top when on the layer.

Hi Wilhelm!
Slide Layers use the Feedback Master Blank Layout.

Can someone advise me on this? Thanks...
Hi Paul!
Be sure you are in slide view and select the layer before you apply the layout.
If that does not assist, could you share your .story file for us to take a look?
Leslie,

Hi Paul!
I'm downloading and taking a look - I'm not sure how I missed this response, but it was just brought back to my attention, so I apologize.

Leslie,
I like the white rectangle idea and I think I'll use that idea. Thanks very much for that!
No problem Paul - glad that will assist.
