Slide Layers on a Lightbox Slide

I have a lightbox slide that needs to be accessed at 4 different times in my course, however within my lightbox slide, there are 7 different slide layers.  When I'm in the lightbox slide, the layers don't just stay on the screen. They come in and out and I have to position the curso in just the right position for the layer to appear. Is there something I can do so it doesn't behave like this?  Or are there any other ideas on how to do this?
