I just installed SL2 on a new computer and now the layers pane on the right hand side is gone. Obviously that is keeping me from being able to do all kinds of work. Any idea how to get it back? I saw several other comments about mousing over the right hand side of the screen to pull it back, but nothing changes with the cursor when I move all the way to the right.
Screenshot attached. I am working locally and not from a network or usb drive. I have closed and re-opened several times and created new files. None of that has changed it.
Thanks Wendy... that makes me feel pretty stupid :) Have been away from SL for almost 2 months now while on other projects and just installed SL2. Didn't realize that I wasn't yet in slide view when I saw this missing. That solves it! Thanks.

Hi Whitney
click View tab > Redock all windows
Tried that and nothing happens. It lists triggers and slide properties as
the ones that are over on that side, but no layers panel.

Can you upload a screenshot?
Also are you working locally and not from a network or usb drive.
Have you tried closing and re-opening storyline and creating a new project file?

Hi Whitney
is that view is Story View? looks like it.
If you click on a slide and have the slides showing down the left side panel so you would be in Slide view then do you see it
