Slide Layers Panel has huge X where layers should be displayed.

This slide was displaying properly in the UI until I updated the picture states (base layer, plus 4 more). Now I only see a huge red X in the panel.

Preview mode shows the interaction working properly, but I cannot access my layers to edit, etc.

I've tried closing and opening the file which does not fix the issue.

Hi Maura,

Yup, that cross is familiar, it's kinda like a crash.

First off, make sure your software is up to date.

Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you are running into with your project.

I would recommend that you import the file into a new one and proceed.

Veronica makes a great point as well. Do you know what version of Storyline you're using?

I'm not allowed to update software for security reasons.

Let me know if importing into a new file works for you.

Please be sure that you are working locally (typically your C: Drive) with both your software and files as well.
