1- In the slide layer panel I don't see the check box to the left. How do I activate it?
2. During the variable tutorial when I go to view slide I get the following prompt. " The slide target of this link is not available in preview." How do I correct this.
Wendy, you know that the tutorials for SL 3 and does have the check boxes
in the layers panel. Just saying when I look at that then my SL 3 its a
little confusing.

Re Q1. Do you mean you are not seeing this? (This is from Storyline 2) If you are using SL360 there isn''t a checkbox

there are no checkboxes in SL3 or SL360
wow, really. So, SL 3 has eliminated this feature. Hmm ok. I'm wondering

I did see that but doing a little research I found this out:
The slide properties check box, that was Storyline 2 and the initial Initial release of Storyline 360.
In a SL360 enhancement (and by extension to SL3) the check boxes became eye icons to show/hide the layer.
