I have created a new slide master with the formatting to my liking. However, when I try and apply the master the formatting and picture is retained but the slide verbiage is not. I can see the wording in the preview but it is omitted when I actually select it... very frustrating. I am using Storyline 360. Any ideas?
When you're editing the slide master and adding text, that is designed as a placeholder for the style of the text (i.e., fonts, colors, size, etc.). When you apply that layout to a slide you'll see the wording for "Master Text Styles" on the slide master change to "Click to add text" indicating you can add text to that placeholder textbox.
One other question. How do I save a master to be used in future Storyline projects. In other words the elearning I am creating will have the same basic layout features and I need to apply those instead reinventing the wheel each time I begin a new project.

Thanks Ashley,

Hi Morgana,
You can save your project as a template. Check out this article.
