Hi Brian,
I have created a customized font style and applied it to all 5 slide maters. However, all slides in the scene were notchanged.
Frustrating.....
Thanks,

Hi,
I replied before but you did not respond, so here I go again.
I imported slides from PowerPoint to Storyline 2. The fonts and font sizes did not import the same so I went to Slide Master and made changes in the Master slide and all the lower thumbnails. I closed slide master view and no changes were made on any slides.
I have played with this numerous ways to no avail.
However, when I create a new slide with that slide format the font sizes on the master apply to the new slide only.
Please help.
Thanks

Hi Walt,
Thanks for responding.
I have gone to layout on some slides and selected the proper layout.
The layouts show the slide features that I want but the slide does not change.
What should I do now?

can you upload the story file and let us know which slide/s have the issue and which layout you are trying to apply - might be easier for someone to help if they can work with the file.
Sometimes its as easy as selecting the option 'Hide background graphics'
I imported a whole course (about 150 slides) from PowerPoint 2013. What I sent you was just a small piece of the course as it was imported. If you look at the Slide Master the fonts are sized as I want them to be but the master doesn't affect the slides.
I am seeing the same behaviour - sorry I can't shed any light on why. I've tried creating a new project and importing your slides in, preserving the master, unpreserving it, deleting all masters except yours - same behaviour - hopefully someone will chime in with a solution for you.
Thanks for reaching out here - just to be clear, you see some elements of the newly imported masters appear after you apply the layout, but not all? I think it may be easiest to work with our Support Engineers and share a screen recording of the steps you're taking and that way we'll be able to spot anything else that may be off in terms of how this is being applied. Also I wanted to let you know that responding via email includes your signature here in the forums so if you want to edit the earlier posts you can remove that.
Thanks for your suggestions but for the sake of time I will just rework each of the slides. Trying to solve this when there may be no solution will take more time.
I certainly understand and please don't hesitate to reach out to us in the future if you need help. Our team is accessible 24/7 through that form/link I shared above and they'd be happy to help.

Verify each slide's layout maps to the Master you've changed. Masters can be "applied to all" too...

When you import, the slides bring their own master with them. Go to layout and change their layout to one that has the settings you want.

I have tried numerous fixes: applied to all, tried using layout that Walt Hamilton suggested all to no avail.
New slides that I create will follow the design of the master but the imported slides will not.
Does anyone have a fix??
Thanks,

Hi Wendy,
I have attached a small portion of the course I am working on.
Thanks for your help,

Hi Jim
which particular slide are you talking about? Just give me one to work on.
