Slide Navigation & Gestures - 360

Aug 08, 2017

Hi,

In Storyline 360, is there a way to make 'next' and 'previous' swipe gestures default? As it is for the buttons.

Cheers,
Megan

Ahh ok Megan, that makes sense! When you upgrade a course, it respects the navigation settings chosen in the previous version.

You can quickly change that setting for multiple slides in Story View by holding down your shift key, then clicking the first slide and the last slide. This will highlight all of them, and you can change that setting:

Hope that's helpful, and good luck with the rest of your project! ✨

Hi Gangadhar!

There are a few ways you can add a Finish button to your course:

  1. If you're not already using the Submit button elsewhere in the course, then change the player text label from 'SUBMIT' to 'FINISH'. Then add the Finish button to the slide with a trigger to exit the course when the user clicks the button.
  2. Add a custom 'Finish' tab to the player, then add a trigger to exit the course when the user clicks the tab.
  3. Add a custom button to the slide itself, then add a trigger to exit the course when the user clicks the button.
