Slide Notes Button to Bottom of Player in Storyline

Jan 25, 2013

Hi! Anyone know how to add a Slide Notes Button to the "Bottom" of your player in Storyline like we're able to in Presenter? I'd love to have a script available for my learners to use without using the sidebar location.

Hi, Anuj -- Thanks for reaching out, and you are correct. The screencast above primarily discussed moving the notes tab to Topbar left or Topbar Right, but does not address how to add a notes tab in the bottom of the screen.

While I am not aware of a way to relocate the Notes tab to the bottom of the screen, perhaps others would have some ideas to share related to a custom player. Please see here for the Articulate Storyline 2 SDK, and if you'd like to reach out in a more topic-focused segment of the community, please see here: Developer SDKs and APIs. And you are always welcome to request this be added as a feature via this form

Hi there Brandon!

There's currently not a way to move the player Notes tab to the bottom of the player, but as Christie mentioned, you might be able to make that work with the  Articulate Storyline 2 SDK. Just keep in mind you'll need Flash coding skills to use the SDK.

And I'd definitely encourage you to submit a feature request telling us more about what you'd like to see and how you would use the Notes button. I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, as this gives us a better idea of how in demand the feature is!
