I am trying to display slide notes so I made the necessary changes in the player properties, but the notes tab is not displaying. I am also trying to not display the menu at all, but it is still appearing. Can anyone help?
Hi Jennifer, it looks like there are some custom settings that have been applied to individual slides, and these settings override what is chosen in the Player options. This is what's causing the menu to display (and the notes to not display).
Try this: switch to Story View, and as you select each slide, check out the Slide Properties pane in the lower-right corner (see screenshot below). I think you will see that for all of the slides, the "Menu" option is chosen and the "Notes" option is not chosen.
You can change this for all slides in your scene by doing this: in Story View, select the first slide, then hold down your Shift key, and then select the last slide (this selects all slide in the scene). Now look at the Slide Properties window and mark the "Notes" option and unmark the "Menu" option. Or, if you want to reset everything to all of the standard player features you've chosen in the Player options, you can instead click "Reset" while all slides are selected.
