Customers demand progress indication in their eLearning. Storyline could help with built-in variables for scene and slide numbering. Without that, progress indicators are manual.
For the third day in a row, a customer has added or removed a slide in the first five slides of a ninety slide deck. It takes considerable time and is error prone to adjust the course progression.
Thanks for sharing your insight on this feature request. I can understand how built-in variables for scene and slide numbering would make life a lot easier, so I'll be sure to bring this request to my team again. If this gets added to Storyline in the future, we'll let you know!

Just thought I'd mention I am manually renumbering 120 slides this morning.
I'd forgo redesigning the trigger panel and modern player for some simple variables that give slide and scene numbers.
