I have a course that has a lot of slides that have been moved around and so the numbering of the slides does not match the order in which they appear. This means that when I export to .doc for translation, it is not in the right order.
Does anyone know how I can get the slides to be numbered in the order they are in as opposed to the number they were given when I created them?
You can reorder scenes and scene numbers by cutting and pasting them in Story View. It's kind of awkward but it does work. There is a Screenr somewhere about how to do that but I can't find it at the moment. By getting your scenes in the order they appear also helps when you publish to Word; otherwise you can get a pretty confusing Word document as SL builds it based on scene numbers.

Hi Mandy,
I believe the screenr Brett is referring to is in this article about scene numbering:
Yes, Ashley. That's the one I was thinking about.
Perfect - I can now add mind reading to my list of skills.
Hope you have a great weekend!
