Slide numbers when published in word

Oct 02, 2013

Hi

I'm in the midst of project in which whole sections and individual slides have been moved around and reordered.  The numbering of certain sections and certain slides is, therefore, out of sequence.  When editing and reviewing this is fine but when the SME wants to see a paper output to comment on they're finding it very difficult to find the sections in order to provide notes for editing.  How can I renumber the slides and therefore present them in the 'right' order when published as MS Word output?

Thanks

Hi Robin:

I have found that when you have question pools, this ordering issue occurs in Word output.

Unfortunately, I have only found that manually renumbering the Word output works at that end. Another method is to put the slide number in the slide name, although this will not order the Word output, it will at least identify the slide number. You can also generate a TOC in Word to provide the SME a shortcut to the target slides.
