Slide progress bar that advances by % with timeline
Jun 06, 2018
Hi,
I'd like to put a progress bar on each slide/page that shows the progression of the timeline. Most pages have narration and I'm only activating the next button once the timeline/narration is complete. It would be nice for the learner to also be able to visually see when the narration is complete.
I've created the states for my progress bar in the master slides. I'd like each state to change as a % of the timeline as each timeline will be different.
Is there a way to trigger the state changes by %? I can see a way to change the state at unique seconds of a timeline but that would mean I'd have to do that for each unique slide.
Thanks in advance,
Andrew
BTW...I'm using S3

Hi,
Why does the player progress bar not suit your needs ?
Pierre
Hi Andrew,
You'll be able to enabled the seekbar as a part of your player properties here.
Also, here are some neat examples of E-Learning progress bars in case you wanted to add a little custom sparkle to your course. 🌟
Thanks all, silly me found the seekbar after I posted. No wonder no one else had the same question in the forum. LOL
No worries, Andrew. We're all here to help, and happy to do so.
Is there a way to customize this seek bar? change its location ext? Im looking to have the seek bar appear at the top of the frame.
Hi Christian,
The seekbar that is visible within the player frame is built-in and set to appear only at the bottom.
We would love to hear more about what you would like to see regarding this ability if you're up for logging a feature request. Here's a bit more about how we work to prioritize feature requests.
You can use this progress bar: https://cluelabs.com/progress-bar-elearning-widget.html and just set the % values wherever you need throughout the slide/project.
Dear fellow E-Learning Heroes,
We are currently looking for a fullscreen mode for imported .mp4-files. Has anyone managed to work around this shortcoming? Embedded videos already have a fullscreen feature built-in, but we'd like to use the feature for all imported .mp4-files.
Sincerely,
The Learning Hub.
