I want a result slide that sums up the scores of the previous slides.
For example, if the slide 1 has 5 questions, 3 correct and 2 incorrect
sentences,the slide 2 has 7 questions, 3 correct and 4 incorrect
sentences ,The resulting slide displays the number of correct sentences the students have done on the previous 2 slides. for example: 4/6 correct sentences
Can anyone help me?
Thanks a lot.

Hello Phương!
Absolutely! That is a perfect use of a variable!
There are two ways to do this:
Hi Phuong,
Here's an alternative way to be able to grade by individual questions per slide. The challenge with using the quiz maker is that it counts points on questions per slide, so if you got one choice wrong, the whole slide is wrong. It would work if you place one question per slide, but I saw your examples from other posts and I see you have multiple questions in one slide, so I figured you need to count by the number of questions in a slide.
You will have to create the quiz manually, and make use of triggers and variables. I've attached a sample of what you are trying to achieve.
It works by assigning a point value to a variable each time a certain condition or state of an object is met.
On a plus side, you can add weighted points for specific or more difficult questions within a slide.
Let me know what you think.

I don't understand with the second way, because in each slide with quiz pick many, drag and drop,... which is only score by question instead by choice such as pick one.
If my slide has 10 question, I'm only practice 9 question correct so Slide result is 0 point.
But I want to slide result shows 9/10 point.
Hi Phương!
I apologize if I misunderstood. The second way was for displaying the results on one slide. That slide wouldn't report all the date, just show the user their scores.
Storyline supports one question per slide and within that, no partial scoring. You could use a custom variable, but that wouldn't be tracked as a results slide. Results slides only track per slide.
Hi Phuong,
I know it can be frustrating not to be able to achieve what you are trying to while building your quizzes, but there's always a way to achieve what you want. Would you mind to share a sample of the story file you are working with, so we can see if it's something we can help you with.
Looking forward to your response!
