Slide result on a layer?

Hi,

I'm building a drag and drop game, which my company needs the result slide to appear on the slide's layer instead of another slide. The objective is, once the students complete the game, the result appears on the bottom half of the slide rather than moving and showing the results on the next slide.

I manually created layers for "Success" and "Fail" but I really don't know how to create the trigger for right/wrong answer that shows the respective slide results.

I'm aware that there's result slide but it creates as a new slide, but I'm wondering if creating results slides on layers is possible?
