For some reason the trigger window on the right side isn't displaying in my Storyline file. I'm sure it's easy to fix but I can't figure the trick to get it back. Can someone tell me a quick fix? Thanks.
I did try that multiple times but for some reason it is not letting me expand it. I can also hover and get the horizontal arrow which allows me to expand the whole storyboard. The verticle arrow isn't working.
Hmmm. I've tried to set up my screen so it looks like yours. And I think I did that here:
At this point the vertical arrow doesn't work for me either. But when I hover over the right-edge and see 2 double-edged arrows, I'm able to drag to the left. Then I CAN see the word Triggers, but not the panel itself. But, now there's left-facing triangle button that I can click to make it face down to reveal the triggers panel.
Are you not able to do that?
One other thing: in the past, I've not been able to drag this panel back when I'm in normal view, but for some reason I HAVE been able to get it to work in Story view. I'm sure that's not documented anywhere and it's probably just me, but what the heck? Thought I'd share.
If that's still not working, maybe you can contact support and they can help out - or maybe someone else in the forums will see this.
I used to have a hard time opening the Trigger panel once I minimized it too. Here's a quick screenr to show you how I get it to open all the time now.
Thanks for the tips on getting the Trigger panel to display. I've gone through both tutorials and I am still not having any luck. I've hovered all up and down the right scroll bar but there's no gray area or space to the right of the scroll bar that lets me click and drag to the left.
Not sure if this is related, but I am also not able to resize the Slide Layers panel more narrow than about 3.5". If I go smaller it folds up.
Ah! Just found something that worked - for my case at least. If you go up to the menu bar and click "VIEW, Redock All Windows" you'll see the Triggers panel reappear.
Doesn't help with the resizing of the Slide Layer - or Triggers - panel but l can live with that for now.
This discussion is a bit older, and actually before the option to "undock" trigger and slide layer panels so it doesn't seem to be related. You can only resize them to a certain width before they'll disappear on the right side. Typically hovering over that far edge will allow you to see a dotted line to bring them back.

Phyllis, try hovering your mouse over the right-edge of the window. See double-edged arrows. Click and drag to the left.

Hi Phyllis -
I just wanted to follow up with you to make sure you were able to expand the panel. Becky's tips are spot on and hopefully they worked for you.
We have a help page that includes a Screenr video tutorial, but it reiterates everything Becky mentioned above. Just thought I'd share the link to ensure you're seeing the same thing: http://www.articulate.com/support/kb_article.php?product=st1&id=z1oxxnoa4h88
