Slide Viewed Question - with Layers

Am trying to remember something . . .

A course is set to complete by number of slides viewed and has a number of slides with layers on them.

For slides with layers, is the slide considered viewed if just the base layer has been viewed or if the base layer and all the other slide layers have been viewed?
