slide with many layers
Jan 24, 2019
I am trying to make an introduction of a building where the user will see the layout.
First I will show the main entrance, and then jump to a separate layer with introduction of this area.
Go back to base layer an "travel" (with motion path´s) to next point in the building, and then jump to another separate layer with introduction of this area.
There will be more areas (+ a layer for each area)
My challenge is to handle this. How do I proceed after I have finished the time in each layer.

Hi Freddy,
Thanks for reaching out and describing what you are looking to design.
It sounds like you have this slide sorted. So, do you need to know the best way to proceed to subsequent slides?
Check out this article from Nicole with a scenario and example that should help you get started in the right direction.
The article helps me partly.
I have now attached the relevant part of my course.
The first scene is showing my "walk" through the building
The next slide is having the building on the base layer.
So I move the picture of the building (with motion path´s), and then jump to the relevant layer (dept. 1) and return to the base layer and then carry on moving the picture of the building to the next spot and then jumping to the relevant layer (dept. 2) and then return.... until I have been at all points.
The base layer has to pause when I am on another layer. I have activated this, but it seams like it dosn´t work.
Main entrance works
Dept. 1 is not shown - don´t know why
Dept. 2 is shown, but base layer continue to play
The rest is not finish yet (want to find the right solution first)
Thanks for sharing the additional details as well as a .story file to take a look at Freddy.
I am a bit stumped as well, so I've opened up a support case on your behalf so that one of our support engineers can take a closer look.
Be on the lookout for an e-mail from our team.
