Is there a way to use variables to show a caption with slide X of Y? I tried using a counter variable but that gets messy when the Learner starts jumping around in a non-linear fashion.
Create a counter as you were doing adding one to variable 'pageX' (or whatever you name it). Then when you want to display it show it as a text box %pageX% of 15 ( or whatever Y turns out to be or is counted to be).
Thanks Tracy. Is there a built-in variable that can tell you what slide number you're on? I'm coming from a Captivate background and it has a system variable call cpInfoCurrentSlide that's basically a slide index. The counter method is problematic because if you have a non-linear course, the Learner can jump to a slide and the counter number is off.
