Hi, I have an issue with my slider jumping back to default when using. My player is default, The slider is not rotated. The slider functionality works fine but I have a strange glitch where the thumb jumps to the initial state when sliding over a certain area. Movie attached. There is no hidden layer or ordering issue in that area.
Hi there, Rob. Thanks for sharing what you're seeing!
I took a peek at your case and saw that my teammate, Renato, logged that the indicator of the sliders behave erratically when the Start of the slider is set to 0, and the variable only updates when the indicator is released as a potential bug.
In the meantime, we have these workarounds: Set the Start to 1. Or, set the Update to While slider is dragged.
Appreciate you bringing this oddity to our attention, and I'm sorry for the trouble! We'll keep you posted with any changes to the bug.
Okay cool. 'Update while dragging' is a good solution for now.
Did you get my other email about the project regarding next and previous buttons on those slider pages?
Hi, Rob. Appreciate your update, and glad to hear that solution helps! 😊
I see that Renz shared great insight around how to disable the Next/Prev buttons when revisiting a quiz slide. For those following along who may have a similar question:
This is part of the default template when reviewing an already answered quiz slide.
You can disable this by resetting the slide to its initial state upon revisit. [More on Storyline's When Revisiting slide property here!]
If you have the setting on some of the questions slides to Automatically Decide, that will then set it to the default review mode for already answered questions.
If there's anything else we can help with, please let us know!
