Hi everyone, I'm working on an activity where the learner drags the slider like a volume controller, and at a certain interval a layer shows with additional information. If they move the slider too quickly however, it allows them to skip over some of the content, and the slider behavior becomes erratic. I've attached the Storyline file, any help would be greatly appreciated!
I'm having the same issue! I need the content on each layer (audio and animations) to finish playing before the user can continue. However, if the user grabs the slider and drags it all the way to the end, they can bypass each layer, which I don't want to happen.
What exactly is the issue? Are you talking about the timeline, or a slider you built? Is it needing something toe end before something else starts, or is it something that the learner does that is being skipped.
Sliders slide. They aren't designed to force users to pause at the stopping points.
If you want to ensure that users view the content on various layers, access the layers with buttons, and program the layers so they can't be closed until the layer is completed.

In my case, I built a slider which plays audio and show images with each step. I would like each step to be visited chronologically from 1 to 5.
The issue is, if you swipe fast enough, you can easily swipe past 1,2,3,4 and go straight to the last step.
I have not found a way to "slow down" slider, or possibility to slide slower.
