Slider not working

highlight the slider then click the Design tab and have a look at the slider properties that are selected - you may need to change what is selected

Here is a tutorial about sliders that may help you.

Update: I downloaded your file, the pictures on the layers are overlapping the slider and stopping it from dragging. Move or crop so they are above the slider object.
