Glad that was able to assist you Mark. I'm not sure if you can compare the two in difficulty. It simply looked like you had already built the layers, so why re-create the same thing in states if we could get the layers to do what you needed here. It was the path of least resistance :)
I'm not sure what happened with what you started to build. I will say that it is easier to have the actual state changes be on an object/image not on the actual slider. So in your case, the layers work well.
Check out this example by Tom where you can see a great use of state changes on an image as it relates to the slider.

Are you saying you added this picture to some custom slider state? Can you share your .story file here so that we can have a look?
Yes, that's what I did. It's on slide 2.6.
Thanks
Hi Mark!
Looks like you have all the layers set up beautifully. I utilized this functionality.
Take a look at your file.
Hi Leslie,
That works and it seems to be easier than using states. So do you always use layers with the slider feature?
Thank you very much,
Mark

Any idea why the image was rotated and in the wrong space?
I did not take a look Mark, so I do not.
Is this something that you are going to further pursue?
Maybe, but always interested in learning more about using Storyline.
I'll take another look when I can Mark :)
