When I preview my page the slider is in the correct starting position (0 of 3), however, when I publish my module the slider is in position (3 of 3). Can anyone let me know how to solve this?
when you reply by email I don't think the attachments appear here in the forum...any of the links I am seeing and clicking are not giving me the screenshot you are referring to.
The screenshot won't help diagnose what may be happening in the publish - can you upload the source story slide?
Thanks for your assistance Wendy, I solved the problem by deleting the slider and all the triggers and re-doing them. It has done the trick and is now functioning correctly.

I just created a sample slide with a slider 0 - 3 and when previewed and published it works as expected.
Probably easier to help you if we could see the story file with the slide.
