Slider thumb pathway Aug 10, 2017 By Philippe JEANTY Is is possible to apply a pathway like ADD MOTION PATH > CUSTOM > CURVE to the THUMB of a slider so that it follows an object on the screen instead of being linear ? Thanks

I'm not sure I'm following what you are asking, but it brings to mind this solution shared by a fellow community member. Or, maybe you're not looking to incorporate the two like that. The slider is linear, but a motion path itself should be able to assist you.

A slider is linear and a 'line' :) It's a great question though, and hopefully someone in the community has some ideas to share. Designer I am not :)
