Sliders won't advance all the way to the end

Jun 15, 2015

I have built out 2 sliders to show a timeline/process.  In preview, it works fine.  When I publish it, the sliders can't be dragged past the second to last interaction.  If I've set it to go from 0 to 5, it won't go past 4. If I've set it to go from 0 to 6, it won't go past 5.

The sliders are within a light box.  Can you help?

Hi, Tricia - I agree with Michael; it would be great if you could share your file or a sample here to illustrate the behavior that you are seeing!

And also, could you please check a few things to rule out some common causes of issues? First, please make sure you are working locally as described here, and you may want to try importing the file into a new file. If you are still having issues, you might want to try to repair Storyline. It's also a good habit to test your published output in the intended environment, as well.

Here is a video showing the behavior. When I preview, it sometimes works and other times refuses to slide all the way to the end.  If I drag it all the way to the beginning, then quickly drag it to the end, the content shows up.  When published on scormcloud, the slider will not advance to the end at all.

I've also included a cut down of the file.  The slider is within a lightbox pop up.  I've had storyline 2 for less than a week.

Thanks!  Appreciate the help.

Hi, Tricia -- Thank you for providing your file, and I see what you mean. It seems to be due to the lightbox, as the slider works fine in a normal slide. I was unable to reproduce the error in a new file, so you may want to remove the lightbox, or it's possible that there is something going on with the file itself. You may want to give importing into a new file another shot and let us know what you come up with when you get a chance.
