I have a scene set up in a Storyline course that auto advances. It is set up to be viewed in a lightbox when users click on a button in the player. When some people view it the first time, it advances at the right speed, but subsequent times it autoadvances at 3-4 times the speed it is set to. Any idea why this is happening and how to fix it?
It's hard to explain without looking at it Leslie, do you have the story file or a copy to share? I can think of layer timing being an issue but, obviously there could be a ton of factors involved here.
Thanks for the offer - but I don't think I can send a copy due to confidentiality issues. However - there are no layers on these slides. Just screen shots (images) and "balloons" popping up with instructions.
As Alexander mentioned, it's difficult without seeing it - but if it's auto advancing, that's based on the timeline of the slide - so if users are returning to the slide do you have it set up to "reset to initial state" or "resume saved state"? The latter would mean that the users would pick up where they left off.
