I created a story which I am going to use as Web Content on a layer. When I publish the story (69 slides), after about 20 slides, the published output starts displaying intermittent black slides. When I drop it in as web content, the black slides persist, and now the browser gets flaky and intermittently hangs up when taking the course. I wish I could point you to where it hangs up or displays the black slides, but it never seems to happen in the same place exactly. If I restart the story output after it displays black or after the browser hangs, and I select Resume, the slide that previously hung displays normally.
Sorry you're hitting those snags- let's get to the bottom of this.
I'll need your help to figure out what's happening here, and I have a few questions to start out:
Just to verify- is this happening when you're using the "Publish for CD" option and then viewing the published output directly from your local computer (C:Drive or desktop)?
I want to make sure I understand what you mean by adding a story you've created as web content to a layer. Are you using a web object on a slide layer to show a course that's already been uploaded to the web?
Can you share your .story project file here so I can take a look? You can add it as an attachment right to a comment.
