Hi, when I play the slide timeline, objects are shifted to the right. But when I preview, the objects are in their correct positions. It's time consuming to constantly Preview.
Also, the chosen slide layout does not stay displayed for the length of the slide. A white background appears not long after (9 seconds) the slide starts. Help!
So I figured out why the slide background isn't appearing throughout the length of the slide. The duration on the slide master wasn't show until end of slide.
In my slide master, I deliberately have the background photo resized and off center. Will this impact objects on the timeline view from appearing off center?

No, it won't.
I played all of the timeline, and parts of the timeline, and previewed the slide, and I couldn't see any difference. What objects are moved, and how far? Maybe it's too subtle for my eyes.
Thanks for that information and showing me what you see. I tried copying the slide elements to another project, with the same results. And now I've opened all of my other courses and they also have the same issue when playing the timeline. Everything is off center. If anyone is reading this post and has a suggestion, I'd be eternally grateful if you could offer a solution!
Walt, I solved it! With your help! I had custom display settings for my monitor (I recently got a new laptop, font size was tiny). I changed them back to the original settings and that did it. Whew! This has been a frustrating situation for the past few work days.
Walt to the rescue! Glad he got you up and running, Teresa! If you need help again please do reach out here or connect directly with our Support Team - they're available 24/7!

Thanks for replying Walt. I've attached two graphics that show what I see when I'm playing the slide timeline and when I use Slide Preview.
Teresa,
Here's what I see using the timeline preview.
Looking at your picture, I wonder if you are viewing the stage at 100% zoom. If not, that would change what you can see.
