Hi, some urgent help would be appreciated. We have a course developed in Articulate Storyline 360, and published it as tin can api to track the individual slide, and it's not marking as complete - either in the LMS or on Scorm Cloud. I have imported video files in each slide and i wanted each slides to be tracked whether the user is completed the particular slide or not, even i have tried giving trigger to each slide but that did not helped me. Can anyone advise pls.
Thanks for letting us know what you are running into. It sounds like you are having an issue tracking your course in the LMS. You mentioned an individual slide, so I'm curious how you have the completion tracking set for your course?
If you wish for the learner to complete individual slides prior to moving on, you can restrict the navigation and then set the course completion as needed.
Thank you for answering my question, but i wanted to track the value of each variable from each slide to my LRS by using xapi, for instance, slide visited, completed, incomplete. i tried doing it by survey questions but i'm unable to track it in LMS it shows just the actor as experienced the particular slide.
Do you have individual variables for each slide? For non interactive (slides that don't use the built in quizzing) you will only get user experienced the slide, if you want to send the data you describe you will have to build this in and send custom xAPI statements.
I'm having a similar, but different problem, if that is possible. I have assessments in which I need the scores when done. I also need it to be marked as 'completed' within the LMS.
When I set tracking to track using quiz results, I get a score, but it doesn't mark the session complete in the LMS. When I change it to track using the complete course trigger, I get a completed indication in the LMS, but no score.
I added a trigger to mark the session complete when Exit is clicked, and left the tracking as 'Track quiz results. ' Still no luck, I get a score, but no completion indication. I've attached screen shots of my settings and the results I'm getting.
Any ideas? Is my trigger contradicting the LMS Reporting option? should I be selecting a different option when I need the score and a completion status?

Please publish your course/quiz as tincan Api by track using quiz result so that you can track your course completion as well.
