Sliding pictures with movable buttons
Nov 12, 2014
Hi forum!
Realier today I got this link showing a great way to
compare things by sliding photos - in this case beforeand after the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Click and scroll down a bit to watch!

As you can see the pictures just don't overlap each other but
one collapses as the other expands when sliding the middle-placed button.
Clever and very useful in explaining not only differences in
time but also "what's under the hood?", "how does it work?",dismantling architecture and the like.
I have started to experiment in Storyline 1.0 and now I reach
out to hear if anyone have made or stumbled across something
having been made in this way - or a somewhat similar solution.
I tried tricksy using of layers but I'm stuck right now.
Big thanks for all good answers and thoughts!
All the best,
Patrik

Hello Patrik!
You may also want to post this in the Building Better Courses forum for other members to share ideas.
In Storyline 2, you can easily create this effect with a slider element. In Storyline 1, it'll take a bit more work. You could create manually create a slide element and use custom states of an image object to create the illusion of one pic 'sliding' into the other.
