Can a StoryLine 2 coder speak to this? For whatever reason, the only time SL2 runs agonizingly slow is when I'm working in a master slide (for example, setting up my glossary). We're talking 90-120 seconds (or more) just to grab a text box, another 90-120 seconds for the box to "react" (that is, to show that it was selected), another 90-120 seconds to move the box the slightest distance, etc.
When the Master View is closed, SL2 runs just fine. Can anyone explain and, more to the point, offer a fix? Many thanks.
I more than meet the stated requirements (for example, 232 GB disk space, 8MB RAM, etc.) Windows 7, SP2, 64-bit, Intel Core 2.3 GHz.
Besides, if it were my system requirements that were the issue, I seriously doubt everything else would run smoothly, with SL2 in master view being the only exception, which is the case.
In truth, however, this is the answer I expected, given what I have observed on the forum.
I haven't seen that behavior myself either, so if you'd meet the minimum requirements and are still only seeing this one the master slides I'd want to know if you're seeing it on all your projects or just a particular one? Have you looked to see that you're working with local project files as described here? Also, if you're seeing it on all project files it may be worth going thru the repair steps detailed here to resolve the unusual behavior.

William,
I've not really came across such an issue. I would really like to know what the staff has to say to this.
Regards,
Yusuf
You sure your system matches the requirements?
Never had problems myself. So can't really help.

I'm having a similar problem where storyline sometimes crashes. Did you ever figure out what was going on?
Hi Sasithra!
Did you attempt the solution that Ashley shared above? This is not common behavior for your users.
