Slow fade-in fade-out animation transitions in SL360 version 3.48 vs 3.47

Since the latest build to in SL360 to 3.48, we have been very slow performance on one of our published SCORM activities on our learners' Android tablets.  We don't seem to be able to pinpoint the reason since our .story file didn't change.

I have created two test cases, the first one of the activity published on 3.47,

I've also done some screen video recordings on a Lenovo Tab 4 of the published results on 3.47 and then on 3.48 to show the contrast in performance.

Is this already a known issue? We are hoping this will be fixed in the next version.
