Snap to Grid and using mouse to select multiple objects.s

My questions are so basic... I cannot figure out how to get images to snap to grid in Storyline 360. They snap to each other, but then I cannot snap to the center of the page. Also, I cannot select multiple objects with the mouse. I have parallels, so the buttons are different than a windows keyboard, but none (shift/fn/ctrl/option/command + mouse/trackpad) select any objects. So to select a handful of objects, I need to click a handful of times.
It's kinda driving me nuts... I understand many of the more advanced features but I am clunking around with the very basics. All that said, is there a resource that explains all such things, specifically for a parallels environment?

Have you tried clicking and dragging around the objects. I think you have to enclose the entirety of the objects to select them, but anything in the bounding area is selected.
Go to Arrange ->Align-> Grid Settings to find the option for
Snap settings
Ahhh... that is it. Thank you! Keyword: Entirety. I am so used to apps where catching any part of an object selects it. That also led me to realize that by grouping the multiple objects, you can align the group to the center of the slide. Once there, you can ungroup them.
