I'm exploring sofware simulation with Storyline. I understand I can present a recording in one of three modes. However, must I re-record the actions 3 times to include all 3 means of presenting the simulation?
I've not figured out if I can save the recording and re-use it again for testing after I've used a recording once for 'view' mode. So far it looks like I can't.
we recorded a software capture but didn't insert it yet, we saved it for using later. We can't find it now. Where does Storyline put the recorded files?
To insert an existing screencast you previously recorded, go to the Slides tab on the ribbon, click the Record Screen drop-down arrow, and choose the screencast. Then select the option to insert it as a video on a single slide or as step-by-step slides.
We didn't insert it right then. We closed the "insert" window. It asked us if we wanted to save the video and we said yes. We can't find it now though. Still look under the "slides" tab?

Peter,
Actually, you only have to record once. You simply click on insert screen recording again, select the recording, and then change the type.

Ok, thanks, that worked nicely.

Hey Jennifer!

Let me know if that helps!
