Solid colors appearing mottled - any suggestions on how to fix

The only workaround I could figure was to recreate the, logo, in my case within SL as best I could. From the image you attached, I would separate the white text as the last letter looks unusual and save this as a separate png file. Create a black shape, e.g. rectangle and insert red text for 'hour' and then insert the png with the white text (if it cannot be recreated in SL).

I have seen this type of post lots of time and have never seen a true solution yet.

bring the image in much larger than you need, the mottling is compression artefacts, I normally bring images from illustrator in 10x what I need
