SOS! Unalbe to sign in despite having the proper credentials

When I open the .story file I'm working on (or any .story file or launch the storyline360 software) it says I'm not signed in. When I attempt to sign in, it says it's an invalid username/password. I tried to reset the password and it says invalid user name, despite me being able to sign in on the storyline360 web page and being 100000% sure I'm typing my login in info correctly. (Heck, I even copied/pasted my user name from my profile within the webpage after I've logged in and even then it says invalid user name.)

There was one time a few mins ago when the system 'recognized' (?) me after I hit the option to reset password and it emailed me the link to reset it. I did do the reset process and when I tried to log in my .story file it says invalid user name/password again.

I do have a case submitted to Articulate Tech Support but I honestly can't afford downtime right now :/

Does anybody have any ideas of what I can try / what might be going on?
