Sound issues - Articulate storyline 2

Hi Sophie,

I saw this recently in another forum thread, but it was specific to the MP4 file that user was inserting and we weren't able to recreate it with another file, although we did share it with our QA Team. 

You'll also want to confirm that you're working on local project files as described here and if you're seeing this across all project files, it may be worth looking at the repair of Storyline.  If you can continue to replicate it we'll want to take a look at your .story file.

We published the course a new time, on the desktop, and everything was OK. So, we think that the problem came from our server.

it's my first time in your website , I have a problem with my storyline on Edge Browser

sometime sound duplication appear while playing the articulate ( I can hear the sound repetition only on Edge browser )

Sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your audio.

What version of Storyline are you currently using? Would you be able to share your .story file so that we could take a look? Just let us know the slide where the audio is duplicated.

I am having the same issue with media playing twice on Edge browser.

Our introduction slide has a video slide automatically appear. However, when viewing in Microsoft Edge browser, the audio of the video plays twice; one after a delay. I can stop one using the custom player but the other audio track is constant, even if I move to other slides.

Hey Patrick,

Thanks for including those links. When I viewed the internal link in Edge, I definitely heard the overlapping audio. However, the audio played correctly in the Articulate Review link.

Would you mind sharing the original project file with me? Even just a copy of the first slide will do. I'd like to publish it to our servers and test it in a few different environments. Thanks!

I had the same experience with your links that Alyssa shared above, so my goal was to publish using the latest version, which is Build 3.17.16188.0, released on June 27th.

If you check out the details on the June 22nd release, we had an issue where the videos would play on the incorrect slides in the HTML5 output, which seems like what we may have been experiencing. Be sure you are using the latest update. You can check by opening Storyline 360 > Help Tab > About Storyline > Version in lower right window

My published version works as expected when viewing in Edge. Take a look here and let me know if that works as expected for you as well.
